Beau & Sierra Talk About Life, Love and Rodeo

Beau: Cowboy Protector

What is your greatest accomplishment?

Beau: Convincing Sierra Byrne that I'm a stand-by-your-woman man no matter what life throws at her or what challenges she'll face in the future.

Sierra: Having enough faith and courage in myself to reach for my own happy-ever-after with Beau.

What do you most enjoy about rodeo?

Beau: Winning the buckle.

Sierra: Giving Beau his good luck before he competes and if he wins…being on the receiving end when Beau claims his victory kiss.

If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?

Beau: I'd wait for people to ask for my help rather than jump in and attempt to solve everyone's problems.

Sierra: To have more confidence in my ability to overcome the roadblocks my worsening eyesight throws in my way.

What makes you angry or upset?

Sierra
Beau: When my brother doesn't realize all I've sacrificed in order for him to take the spotlight in bull riding the past few years.

Sierra: Feeling as if I have no control over my destiny.

What is your most treasured possession?

Beau: My leather tools for making saddles.

Sierra:  An engraved ladle my mother gave me when I graduated from the Le Cordon Bleu cooking school in Chicago.

What do you dream of?

Beau: Winning a National Finals Rodeo title in bull riding, then retiring and settling down with Sierra.

Sierra:  Marrying Beau and having his children.

What are you most afraid of?

Beau: Going through life without Sierra.

Beau
Sierra: Losing my sight before I'm able to do all the things on my bucket list.

What is your favorite book?

Beau: Stohlman Encyclopedia of Saddle Making.

Sierra: Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell.

If you could change one thing about your family what would it be?

Beau: That my mother didn't die in a car wreck when me and my brother were two- year olds.

Sierra: That I not be an only child and that my parents had survived their plane crash five years ago.

On what occasion do you lie?

Beau: To spare someone's feelings.

Sierra: To protect my privacy.

What's your favorite food?

Beau: Anything Sierra cooks.

Sierra: My mother's homemade macaroni and cheese.

  3. What an inter sting interview- I did not realize the depth of Beau- and his relationship with Sierra. I love the series and the cowboys. The stories flow so well together. Thanks to the person with the idea for the series and characters.

  4. Hi Suzanne--thanks for stopping by harlequinjunkie and the Harts of the Rodeo blog! I'm glad to hear you're liking the series :-) The credit for the series goes to the senior editor for the American Romance line--she developed the character bibles each of us authors followed but of course we added our own twists and turns to our stories :-) There's a lot going on in Beau's book, not only his and Sierra's romance but Sierra's aunt and Beau's uncle fall in love and Beau and Duke finally confront the real issue that's driven them apart in the previous books...plus we can't forget Midnight...lots of good stuff! I hope you think so anyway, lol!

Thanks again for stopping by and be sure to come back in November when I'll be chatting every week about something in my book and giving away autographed copies of my book!
